El desplome acumulado en las últimas semanas da paso hoy a un derrumbe inédito sin presedente. Las Bolsas asiáticas se han hundido: Nikkei -4,41%, KOSPI -3,87%, Shanghai -1,52%. Las Bolsas Europeas han cerrado con caída de más del 10%; FTSE MIB -16%, IBEX35 -14%, CAC40 -12% y el Euro Stoxx 50 -12%. Wall Street cotiza sobre una media de sesión de entre un -5% . El Índice General de la Bolsa de Valores de Lima (BVL) cotiza a primera hora de la mañana con una caída superior al 9% (15.454,59 puntos básicos), y que hasta la fecha ha caído más de 15% en lo que va del año, cerrando el pasado miércoles con una cotización del 17.094,31 punto básicos.

Los mercados financieros no habían logrado cortar aún la espiral bajista provocada por el impacto del coronavirus cuando se han chocado de bruces con una oleada de ventas en el mercado del petróleo de una magnitud no vista en cerca de 30 años. Sólo en la sesión de hoy, el barril de Brent ha llegado a desplomarse un 30%, su mayor caída desde 1991.
Hasta la fecha aún no hay acuerdos entre los miembros de la OPED, lo que esta provocando la caída en la sesión de hasta el 8% d. Los analistas Goldman Sachs pronostican que el incremento de la oferta en un periodo en el que la demanda cae en picado por el efecto del coronavirus y que llevará al desplome del precio del petróleo hasta los 30 dólares por barril.
