El fiscal Pérez: Espera que el ex primer ministro Yehude Simon asista a la audiencia
El fiscal José Domingo Pérez, integrante del equipo especial del caso Lava Jato, dijo esperar este viernes que el investigado ex primer ministro Yehude Simon no alegue algún problema de salud en la audiencia para evaluar el pedido de prisión preventiva por 36 meses en su contra que continuará el día de mañana.
“Yo espero que el día de mañana, pues no tengamos un argumento sorpresivo de parte del señor Yehude Simon alegando una circunstancia similar de orden de edad o temas de salud”, sostuvo en declaraciones a la prensa haciendo referencia a lo sucedido con el exalcalde de Lima Luis Castañeda Lossio a quien el Poder Judicial le varió su prisión preventiva por un arresto domiciliario por razones médicas.
Al respecto, Pérez indicó que la resolución de la Sala Penal Anticorrupción que revocó la prisión preventiva contra el exburgomaestre y le impuso detención domiciliaria “ha sido basada en apreciación médica particular”.
Explicó que en todo el proceso a cargo de la fiscal Milagros Salazar «no se había solicitado» un examen médico por parte de Castañeda Lossio.
“En el caso de Castañeda Lossio entiendo que el Ministerio Público no contaba con ese documento porque no se había solicitado por parte ni de la fiscalía ni por parte de la defensa al momento de hacer ejercicio de su derecho. Esa es una información que se dio a conocer en el desarrollo de la audiencia y que no ha tenido una base médico legal”, señaló.
“La resolución de la sala [que varía la prisión preventiva por detención domiciliaria] del señor Luis Castañeda Lossio ha sido basada en apreciación médica particular, no basada en una resolución de un médico legal o de un médico legista”, remarcó.
